Dear Vampire Diaries Fans,

As a resident of "Mystic Falls" and as a big fan of The Vampire Diaries, I want to welcome you to Mystic Falls and show you all the local haunts that I know of where the show has been filmed this past season. As you may know, TVD pilot was filmed in Vancouver but every episode since has been filmed right here in Georgia, with a majority of background sets being in Covington, Georgia. Covington is also known as the "Hollywood of the South" thanks to a long history of Covington welcoming and working with production companies (old favorites such as In the Heat of the Night and the Dukes of Hazard and more recently the Footloose remake).

I have watched every episode of TVD many times and stay up to date on recent happens in the TVD world to make sure your tour is very informative and enjoyable. Each stop includes episode by episode details about what was filmed at the location. 

A road trip to Mystic Falls just might help time go by a little faster until the next new episode of the Vampire Dairies airs.
